INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY SUPPORT SERVICES

The Venesco & SaiTech Joint Venture helps NASA manage the IT and communications environment at its Washington D.C. headquarters under a five-year, $213 million contract.

As a part of this effort, we plan & manage information systems, develop applications, engineer & integrate systems, innovate new technology, support customers, and operate the space agency’s data center.

SOFTWARE AND NETWORK ENGINEERING

Venesco specializes in portfolio management, software engineering, and help desk services in support of the U.S. Army’s Telemedicine and Advanced Technology Research Center. Our engineers follow the software development lifecycle process to develop, test, and integrate designs for mobile devices and PCs. Our engineering team integrated medical applications with internet protocol-based devices, allowing users to send medical information between systems. We also provide software and network engineering to the Naval Health Research Center. Our staff develops technology assessments for intramural DoD programs; resolves complex IT program & implementation issues; and supports software applications on C++, Java, Visual Basic, and SQL.

COMPUTER & INFORMATION RESEARCH

We provide computer & information research support to the Federal Aviation Administration’s Civil Aerospace Medical Institute. We conduct research on fundamental computer & information science, design aeromedical information systems, develop hardware & software solutions to address aeromedical issues, and use high performance computing assets and big data. We also developed a web-based, user-defined geographic information system that integrates data on aircraft accidents and incidents from several databases. The system creates real-time, layered geographical displays.

HELP DESK SERVICES

Our help desk services deliver customer satisfaction through integrated processes and cost-effective end-user support. In support of prominent health research programs at the Naval Health Research Center, our technical help desk team resolves complex IT program & implementation issues. We specialize in cross-platform data and IT systems that require coordination and compatibility. We also maintain a full-time help desk in support of the U.S. Army Telemedicine and Advanced Technology Research Center’s mobile healthcare project.

DATA MANAGEMENT

We have the acumen to deliver data management technical services to the U.S. Navy’s programs for DDG 51 shipbuilding, foreign military sales, and the AEGIS weapon system. We carry out production, development, test & evaluation, ship integration, and cruiser modernization in an integrated data environment using database management tools. Venesco houses a tracking system on an accredited, web-based, enterprise application server. The database collects information related to procurement requests, contracts, contract data-requirement lists, transmittals, and data distribution profiles.
