Venesco LLC is looking for a Program Manager / Project Leader / Project Manager – Level III to join our growing team at the Department of Labor office in Washington, DC.
As a Program / Project Manager, you will plan, direct, and co-ordinate a cross-functional team’s activities to manage and implement project and/or interrelated programs from contract/proposal initiation to final operational stage. You will propose and develop add-on program opportunities, leads teams to develop plans that model program commitments and timing and lead the project/program team(s) in determining client requirements and translating requirements into operational plans.
It will be your responsibility to determine monitor and review all project/program economics to include costs, operational budgets, staffing requirements, resources and risk. You will Identify and assemble the appropriate blend of resources to meet program needs and requirements and monitor and report on activities related to the project/program.
Through regular meetings with customers to review program scope and progress, you will identify and resolve program issues. It will be up to you to controls project/program requirements, scope, and change management issues. You will work closely with senior management on program proposals, bids, contracts, estimates, and schedules. You will formulate contingency plans to address schedule revisions, risk, fund allocations, and work requirements.
As the Program / Project Manager, you will ensure adherence to legally binding requirements and client’s long-term strategic goals, coach and counsel members of cross-functional teams to accomplish project/program goals, to meet established schedules, and resolve technical/operational issues. You will establish appropriate metrics for measuring key program criteria while maintaining awareness of emerging technologies and project/program management techniques.
Bachelor’s Degree and 10 years of experience as a cloud based program / project manager.
