Systems Engineer – Level III

Venesco LLC is looking for a Systems Engineer – Level III / Infrastructure Specialist to join our growing team at the Department of Labor office in Washington, D.C.

Under general direction, you will apply specialized knowledge in a systems infrastructure discipline to conceptualize, design, construct, test, implement and optimize infrastructure systems that enable and support business and/or engineering/manufacturing functions.

We will look to you to Interact with the customer and ES team to gain an understanding of the business environment, technical context, and organizational strategic direction. You will define scope, plans and deliverables for assigned projects, collect, identify, define and organize detailed user and systems requirements, and coordinate and collaborate with others to ensure plans and identified solutions meet customer needs and expectations. It will be up to you to confirm and prioritize project plans and deliverables with the customer, conceptualize, construct, test and implement integrated network, hardware and software solutions, distributed computing solutions, and/or physical and logical communications networks for the customer and ES architects client/server solutions and environments.

You will create application program interfaces and/or network designs, monitor performance and analyze statistics to identify and resolve system infrastructure documentation, and establish and maintain security, integrity and business continuity controls and documents. Additionally, you will participate in special system infrastructure projects.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s Degree and 5 years of experience as a systems engineer.
