Enterprise Architect I, II, III & IV

Position Title: Enterprise Architect I, II, III & IV

Location: NASA HQ – Washington, DC


Has expertise that includes Software as a Service (SaaS), Infrastructure as a Service (laaS), Cloud Computing, Infrastructure Virtualization, or Data Center Consolidation.

Possesses definitive expertise and knowledge of specific methodologies, tools, middleware, process designs, or data management techniques that are deployed.

Top level technical or functional expert responsible for monitoring key technologies and technical standards.

Works across organizations on many projects and to define standards in the context of the developed principles and meets with key vendors and services providers to monitor standards and directions.

Actively monitors market trends and assists the client in defining a set of technical standards that define the infrastructure architecture.

Advises on selection of products based on the definition of standards within the architecture with regards to processing, data storage, data access, and applications development.

Advises on potential future projects to management and provides guidance to others.

Performs highly complex responsibilities with considerable latitude.

Interprets company initiatives and client requirements.


MA/MS or Equivalent



Enterprise Architect I: <2 Years

Enterprise Architect II: 2-5 Years

Enterprise Architect III: 5-8 Years

Enterprise Architect IV: >8 Years



Technical Requirements:

Experienced in the application and use of methodologies including the Federal Enterprise Architecture (FEAF) Framework, the Open Architecture Group Framework (TOGAF), Department of Defense Architecture Framework (DoDAF), Zachman.

Experienced with EA tools including COBIT, IDAMS, and ERWIN.
